  • Phone number (mobile or residential)

  • Date of birth
  • Address (official, residential, or other)

  • Audio recordings from microphone access, used to perform activities like speech recognition for educational purposes (e.g., practicing pronunciation)
1.2 Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information does not directly identify you and may include:

  • Device information (e.g., device type, operating system, unique identifiers)
  • Internet or telecom service provider details
  • Browser type and settings
  • Usage data (e.g., time spent on the App, features accessed, pages viewed)
  • IP address and geolocation data (approximate location based on IP)
1.3 Microphone Access

We access your device’s microphone to enable speech recognition features for educational activities, such as practicing English pronunciation or participating in interactive lessons. This access is only activated with your explicit consent, and audio data is processed securely to enhance your learning experience.

1.4 Information from Minors

If a User is under 18, we require parental or legal guardian consent for registration and data collection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without such consent. See Section 9 for details.

1.5 Cookies and Tracking
  • The App uses cookies and similar technologies to track preferences, enable faster logins, and analyze usage trends.
  • Cookies are small files stored on your device. You can disable cookies via browser settings, but this may limit some App features.
  • We may collect session data, such as duration of use, to improve performance.

  • Directly: When you provide it during registration, profile creation, or interactions (e.g., uploading images for quizzes, submitting audio).
  • Automatically: Through device data, cookies, or usage logs as you navigate the App.

Accessing third-party services is at your discretion, and we are not liable for any data breaches or objectionable content on those platforms.

We prioritize the security of your information and employ industry-standard measures, including:

  • Encryption: Audio data and sensitive information are encrypted using AES-256, with data transfers secured via HTTPS.
  • Access Controls: Only authorized personnel access your data on a need-to-know basis.
  • Secure Protocols: Video and interactive content are delivered using secure HLS protocols.

Despite these efforts:

  • No internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access due to factors beyond our control (e.g., hacking, force majeure).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your information:

  • Opt-Out: You may choose not to provide certain information, though this may limit access to some features.
  • Data Withdrawal: Request deletion of your personal information by contacting our grievance officer (see Section 10). We may retain some data for legal or operational purposes.

9. Use of the App by Minors

Age Requirements:

  • Users in India must be at least 18 to register independently or have parental consent if under 18.
  • For international users, age requirements vary (e.g., 13 in Singapore, 14 in South Korea, 16 in Vietnam). Minors must have parental consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent. If a minor uses the App, we assume parental consent has been obtained. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minor usage. If you believe a minor has provided data without consent, or if your child faces bullying, abuse, or harassment, contact us at support@angrezistaan.com. We may terminate accounts of minors lacking proper consent and remove their data from our servers.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Disputes arising from this Policy will be resolved through arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996:

  • Arbitrators: Three (one appointed by each party, the third by the two appointees).
  • Language: English.
  • Venue: Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Binding Decision: The arbitrators’ decision is final.
